O uso do objecto está ligado ao nascer da lua cheia e à transição e alteração da cor do céu.
Agarre com uma mão o objecto de forma a olhar através da fenda circular. Acompanhar o trajecto da lua, o surgir e a sua elevação.

Estes novos Objectos de errância: Uso do Olho #5 (mise à nu par la lune) estabelecem uma relação com uma luz lunar específica: o momento que precede o aparecimento da lua cheia e um lugar. O lugar onde nos encontramos cada dia, em cada presente na sua relação com alguma coisa de maior – o universo. Depois de questionar várias pessoas sobre o lugar do surgimento da Lua cheia apercebi-me de que observar o corpo de quem responde a esta pergunta era como observar um desenho em construção. A pessoa mexe-se, procura com gestos situar-se no universo.

Estes gestos estão ligados aos meus últimos desenhos que sugerem o mesmo entendimento do corpo. Mais do que a observação da lua cheia pretendo descobrir e registar estes desenhos de que falo.
Assim, proponho que cada usufrutuário use o seu lugar começando por virar a sua cadeira para o sítio onde pensa poder ver surgir a lua. Em segundo que utilize o Olho #5 ( abrindo a caixa e com objecto na mão recortando o olhar com o centro vazio do objecto o que e está em roda).

O evento começa antes do surgimento da lua e continua. Hoje trata-se de um inicio, pois os objectos são vos entregues e ficam em vossa posse até a um fecho deste evento. No caderno é registado a quem pertencem, durante esse intervalo de tempo e de espaço, os Olhos, para que voltem à sua caixa no fim da sua utilização. A caixa, os olhos, o filme e o caderno são a obra Olho #5 (mise à nu par la lune), Agosto 2007.

Eu, depois de experimentar este objecto de errância ao longo destes meses, proponho que deixem em casa a caixa e o transportem sempre convosco. Mais um olho? Uma moldura? Uma forma de olhar e de se relacionar com a observação – apropriação do mundo.

Instructions of use:

The use of the object is connected with dawn.
Hold the object with your hands at eye level facing the sea; align the line of the horizon with the line carved in the object. Point it in the direction of the place where the sun is going to emerge. Follow its trajectory for a few seconds, and then its reflection around it. This object should be used in this way at least once a year.

It fits the palm of the hand, it is a travel object, and therefore, portable and nomad. This Objects of Errantry was conceived to watch the moon rising. These new Objectos de errância (Objects of Errantry): Uso do Olho #5 (the use of Eye #5) (mise a nu par la lune) established a relationship to a particular lunar light: the moment which precedes the appearance of a full moon and a place. The place where we find ourselves each day, in each present, and its relationship to a bigger thing – the universe. After questioning several people about the place where the moon rises I have realized that watching the body of whom answers was like observing a drawing under construction. The person moves, searches with the gestures, tries to situate oneself in the universe. These gestures are connected to my last drawings, that suggest the same bodily understanding. More than the observation of the full moon, I intend to find out and register these drawings that I’m talking about.

Thus, I propose that each user starts by using one’s place turning one’s chair in the direction of where the moon is thought to come up. Second, that one uses Olho #5 (Eye #5) (opening the box and, with the object in one’s hand, cutting away one’s vision with the object’s empty centre what and is surrounding). The event starts before the moon’s appearance and carries on. Today is about a beginning, because the objects are given to you and belong to you until this event is finished (Lux 2007 – date to be confirmed). In the notebook is registered to whom they belong, during this time-space interval, the Olhos (Eyes), for them to be delivered to their boxes when their use comes to an end. I, after trying out this objecto de errância (objects of errantry) throughout these months, suggest that you leave the box at home and carry it around at all times. More an eye? A frame? A way of looking and relating to the observationappropriation of the world.
