Os Passeios transportam das “naturezas/auto-retratos” a dimensão do movimento. As camadas síncronas que caracterizam aquelas obras expandem-se linearmente e passam a integrar imagens de outros domínios. O passeio, movimento gerador de imagens na natureza, interioriza-se e capta interiores e exteriores. Inicialmente vazio da representação humana outra que o rosto auto-retratado cede aos poucos algum espaço a presenças alheias.

A aparente diversidade das imagens é desfeita pelo efeito de um gesto linear que unido percorre o tempo destas imagens, fixas, mas que convidam a uma visão em movimento, a um entro e saio entre espaços.

São editadas num fluir mais próprio da imagem fílmica preservando a real dimensão do movimento. A medida de cada segmento remete para a largura de um passo sendo o observador obrigado a deslocar-se cedendo ao convite instintivo para percorrer essa pintura.

The Passeios (Strolls) carry from the “natures/self-portraits” the movement dimension. The stroll, an image-generating motion in nature, becomes interiorized and apprehends interiors and extirios. At the outset, it is void of human representa tion apart from the self-portrayed face but gradually it allows in other presences.

The apparent diversity of such images is undone through the effect of a linear gesture, by way of linkage, running along the time span of those images; despite their stillness, they invite to a sight in movement, between spaces, in and out.

Their editing suggest the flow of motion picture frames, while preserving the real dimension of movement. The measure of each segment refers to the size of a step, instinctively the onlooker has to walk alongside this work, yeld to temptation.
